The Garden
Living Project, 2020-Present
Overview:
Part experiment, part meditation, the garden is a living project rooted in care, observation, and discovery. I grow vegetables, berries, herbs, and flowers using native species, organic practices, and a hands-on, low-intervention approach that centers seasonal rhythms and reciprocity with the land.
Project Description:
This space is more than a food source—it’s an ongoing collaboration with the local ecosystem and an intentional daily practice. From seed-starting to composting, every part of the process is done by hand. We cultivate a mix of edible and flowering plants that support pollinators, enrich the soil, and reflect the cycles of emergence, decay, and renewal.
In addition to growing, I document the garden daily through video vignettes—short clips paired with music, created and shared as a quiet ritual of reflection. These videos capture small movements: a bee landing, leaves shifting in the wind, blossoms unfurling. Together, they serve as a living record of change, attention, and relationship over time.
The garden acts as both a studio and collaborator: a place to listen closely, create rhythmically, and participate in something larger than myself.
